Patricia A. Suriana is a PhD student in the Computer Science department at Stanford University, advised by Ron Dror. Prior to Stanford, she worked as a software engineer at Google Research, working on Halide, an open-source DSL designed specifically for computational photography. She received an MEng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016, where she was advised by Saman Amarasinghe, and she received a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science also from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014. Her research interests include application of machine learning to computational structural biology, programming language (domain specific language), distributed system, high-performance computing, and search/path planning.
